Pictures

K and Alyson next to the snowbank at the end of our driveway on Valentine's Day.

Alyson's Valentine's Day gift, another froggy! Chewing on her teether and pointing to the camera..."Here's lookin' at you!"

Alyson laughing at K while K is doing her Dance Dance Revolution on Playstation, Aly was "dancing" with her arms and legs just like big sis! The HRH on her socks stands for "Her Royal Highness"!

Aly in her snowsuit

I bundled her up yesterday and took her outside to see the snow. She blinked and wrinkled her nose up everytime a snowflake hit her face! I took pictures of her and K out side next to the snowbank, but I have to have Josh get those off of the camera for me still. Posted by Picasa

Snow, snow and more snow

This is what our driveway looked like at 10:30AM yesterday. And it just kept coming! Ended up coming up to our waist after all said and done. All the schools were closed, a couple of major roads, even Josh didn't have to go to work! Posted by Picasa

Trifecta

Aly is 19 weeks old today, just over 4 months.

This is what we have been dealing with...

#1 - 4 month checkup on 1/29, which ended with 3 shots. So, we have been cranky and feverish.

#2 - Constipation. She will not poo, and when she does (about every other day) it is hard and she bleeds and screams, to the point tears are running down her face and mine. The dr told us we could try suppositories, so today is the 6th day with that. She is pooing now, and it has gotten softer, and she is using her muscles again, but we are still crying and cranky. We have tried everything, switched formula, juice, exercises.

#3 - TEETHING. OMG, somebody shoot me. Cranky, drooling, screaming, fever, angry, not sleeping at night (all of us). You can see a white bump on her gumline, bottom front. She insists on chewing on me.

She is now 15 pounds and 25 inches long. I think she will be growing out of her 3-6 month clothes by next month. She has outgrown the stage one diapers and is on to stage two. Also, she has discovered her feet.

1/30/07 - she rolled from her back to her stomach for the first time. Josh and I didn't see it because we were upstairs looking for last years taxes, but K was with her and got to see it. We ran downstairs but she wouldn't and hasn't done it again. :(

It has been 2 years today since I was officially diagnosed with MS. I still don't know how to feel about it. I haven't had any major probems, thank goodness. But now evertime I have a headache for a few days, or my hands are clumsy, or my speech is labored, I get a little nervous. Dr says I'm doing good, but he wants me to start a weekly injection now that I am done breastfeeding. I don't know what to do. Josh and I have talked a lot about this, but we are both undecided. I see the dr again next month, and am due for an MRI, so I think we'll wait and see until then. It is a hard decision, do I put myself on injections for the rest of my life so no new lesions form, or do I wait and see what happens? Because there is always that chance that nothing will ever happen again. Very hard decision, a catch 22.
