Christmas Picture!

Just thought I'd post one now, to wet your whistle! There are 7 more that we had taken! I will scan those soon and post those also. K is 10 years old, Alyson was 10 weeks old. K has red and green rubber bands on her braces, for the holiday season of course!  Posted by Picasa

10 weeks old

Your baby is growing stronger every day. She may now be able to lift her head, chest, and shoulders off the ground when she's on her tummy. Your Superbaby will look so proud and happy while she's "flying" this way. If she's especially strong, she may be able to push herself up using her arms while lying on her stomach.
Help your baby exercise this skill by holding a toy in front of her and teasing her with it a little when she's lying on her tummy. Although she won't be able to reach it or move toward it, she will want to raise herself to look at it. Your baby won't actually crawl until at least 6 months, but these precrawling motions are her way of developing her muscles so that she grows stronger. She'll be able to scoot and roll before she actually crawls. Remember that it's important to give your baby opportunities to lie on her tummy this way. So be sure to take her out of her crib, bouncy seat, or soft carrier for regular "play" periods when she's alert and happy.

She's been in a mood for the last 4 days, not sleeping very well. So we are a bit tired here. We are wondering if she is teething because she keeps cramming her hands in her mouth and chewing on them.

So, today we took K and Aly to have Christmas pictures taken! OMG too cute! There is a pic of Aly in a red velvet outfit that has a hood on it that makes her look like a reindeer! We pick them up tomorrow so stay tuned for those! We had pics of them taken together and separate. It took over an hour to get good pics, and at the end we finally got Aly to smile! She threw a fit half way thru and we had to stop and give her a bottle. Tonight was ladies night at Harley Davidson too so I met Kimmy out there to do a little Christmas shopping! And on top of that, it was snowing so hard we could hardly see to drive home!

Tomorrow we are hoping to get our Christmas tree! If it's not too nasty out. If it is, then we will go Saturday and hopefully decorate it Sunday. I love Christmas!!!! K helped me put lights up on the house, blue icicle lights. Plus we have a giant blow up in the front yard, it's a snow globe with santa a tree and a snowman in it, thanks mom and dad! K also helped me to put up decorations in the house this past weekend. We still have to put up the Christmas village.

This past Sunday we had my parents, Josh's parents, my sis, his sis and the kids over for lunch. We made finger foods and I made a double chocolate bundt cake. Deeeelicious! After we ate, I broke out the crafts and the kids all made Christmas cards and ornaments. Then there was a knock at the door, who could it be??? It was SANTA!!!! And he knew each of there names and hobbies that they have. They each got to sit on his lap and tell him what they wanted, and he gave them a candy cane. Aly even got to sit with him! Many pics were taken, will post those soon too.
